THE PERSON BEHIND YOUR FILM

DRIVEN BY CONNECTION. ROOTED IN LEGACY.

ABOUT

I've been documenting weddings since 2014 — and what still moves me, after all these years, is that no two days ever feel the same.

I'm Henry Saint-Jean. I'm a cinematic wedding videographer based in Virginia, and what I do isn't just film your wedding. I preserve the version of it you'll want to return to — the one where you can hear your grandmother laugh, feel the weight of that first dance, and remember exactly how the room felt when you walked in.

CAPTURING THE UNSCRIPTED

The moments I live for aren't the ones on the shot list.

They're the ones nobody planned — your dad collecting himself before he walks you down the aisle, your best friend whispering something that makes you laugh right before the ceremony starts, the way your partner looks at you when they think you're not looking back.

Those are the moments I'm always watching for. And those are the moments that make your film feel like yours.

HONORING THE SENSES — PRESERVING THE LEGACY

I approach every wedding with reverence — for the people, the traditions, and the weight of what's actually happening in that room.

I'm not just capturing what your wedding looks like. I'm listening for the catch in your father's voice, watching for the moment your partner's composure finally breaks, preserving every detail before it disappears.

That intention runs deep in my Caribbean heritage, where storytelling is how you honor the people you love. I bring that same care to every wedding I film — from the vineyards of Charlottesville to the estates of Northern Virginia to wherever your story takes us.

A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

When I'm not behind a camera, you'll likely find me exploring somewhere new with my wife — travel has a way of sharpening how I see the world, and how I see your day. I'm grounded in my faith and my Caribbean roots, and on a quiet evening, nothing beats a perfectly prepared lamb dish paired with a Lavender Coconut Martini — a favorite memory from our time on the Big Island of Hawaii.

I share all of this because I want you to know who's showing up on your wedding day. Not a stranger with a camera. Someone who genuinely cares about you, moves through your day with calm intentionality, and leaves you with something you'll treasure for the rest of your life.
